Global library at O.P. Jindal Global University is initiating one of its kind training programme for enthusiastic postgraduates interested in learning library services in a university environment through on-the-job experience.
Selected candidates will go through a structured training programme for a period of two years. They will engage in various activities of different units of the Global Library. Also, the trainees will do mandatory courses and projects.
At the end of the training programme, a performance review will be conducted, and competent candidates may be offered a full time position in Global Library of JGU. (Offers will be based on the needs of the Global Library)
Qualifications and Academic Record:
Maximum age limit of 25 years for all applicants.
Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from a reputed University or Institute with a minimum of 50% marks.
Compensation and benefits:
All selected candidates will be offered a stipend of Rs. 30,000/- pm (less applicable TDS).
Free shared accommodation in the vicinity of the campus. Medical and accidental insurance coverage as per the University policy.
